Liverpool needs to strengthen

Former Liverpool player Andrea Dossena believes that the team should strengthen during the January transfer window if they want to win the title. He said that the Anfield side is in a good position in the league and that this could be a unique opportunity for them to win the title and that they should do everything they can in order to strengthen the team.

He said that there are plenty of games to be played in the Premier League as well as the Champions League and that Liverpool appears to be short in some areas. He hopes that the team will seize the opportunity of the transfer window in order to strengthen the team.

Former Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena believes that Liverpool can win the title this season if they managed to be consistent. He said that Jurgen Klopp has built a team that can challenge Manchester City for the title and that the players should stand behind him.

He said that it has been a long time since Liverpool had a team that can win the Premier League and he feels that the current one can help them achieve that.

Inter Milan secure the signing of Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have confirmed that they have agreed to loan out Sime Vrsaljko to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old was one among the standout players for Croatia during their run to the World Cup final and he has now decided to pursue a fresh challenge with the Nerazzurri.

In a statement released, Atletico confirmed that the Croatian has joined the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan with the option to buy, the message read: “Sime Vrsaljko has been loaned to Inter Milan. The deal, pending the completion of regulatory processes and medical exam, will include an option to buy for Inter. The Croatian right-back joined our club in the 2016 summer transfer window and made 54 appearances for our club. In those matches, he scored one goal and gave seven assists.”

ROBERTSON TO START AGAINST MAN CITY?

Since summer addition Andrew Robertson joined Liverpool, he has been decent in the role.


The player cost Jurgen Klopp £10 million as he moved from Hull City. He would be switching the role with Alberto Moreno, who remained at Anfield despite speculations that he was set to exit.

Against Crystal Palace, Robertson was one of the most dangerous players in attack especially in the first half. Though the team struggled to scrape past Palace, the left back showed decent quality. He proved that he could play long term in the role James Milner featured in last term.

Liverpool have had a perennial left back problem that many have tried to fill. Many like Paul Konchesky, Andrea Dossena, Emiliano Insua and Fabio Aurelio. The Scot can own the role with performances like that when he gets any chance.

The player still has a lot to learn but he showed he has the basic requirements. He would he sharing the slot with Moreno depending on Klopp’s plans, the game and their fitness levels – the heavy Arsenal victory is the most recentexample as Moreno played.
