Andrea Dossena joined the English League One club Leyton Orient

The 33 year old year old Italian defender Andrea Dossena joined the English League One club Leyton Orient on November of 2014 but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago where he managed to score his first goal in this league where he had never performed before joining Leyton Orient.

Leyton Orient is positioned in the bottom spots of the English League and every goal, every point that their players are able to secure can play a huge difference in their attempts of avoiding the relegation zone.

Andrea Dossena helped out LeytonDossena in securing 3 points a few weeks ago on February 21 as he made his mark on the score-sheet by scoring at the 3rd minute of the match during the league match of Leyton Orient when they faced off with Oldham Athletic. The final scoreboard of this match displayed 3-0 as Leyton Orient managed to claim their first home win of the year and more importantly they sealed all 3 points.

The experienced defender has spent time performing in big European League including: Serie A and the Premier League before making a switch to the English League One, even though this league might not be as competitive or popular as the previous leagues where he used to compete in, Dossena has the same attitude as always as he simply wants to continue competing at his personal best despite where he is performing in.

Dossena said: “It is a bit different but football is football. Every league is difficult whether it is the Premier League or League One. My attitude is the same because I love to play football and I want to keep playing for a long time so I enjoy this with my teammates and supporters. We want to keep this going for the next week.”

That was the statement released by Andrea Dossena as he spoke after scoring his goal against Old Ham Athletic as the Italian defender explained that every goal is important even if his opponents are Manchester United or a lesser known club.
