Andrea Dossena along with Ki Sung-Yueng are some of the players which truly experienced the summer clear-out of Sunderland as the Premier League club offloaded some of their players which weren’t playing an important role in the club.
The Italian left-back, Andrea Dossena joined Leyton Orient on a free transfer which extends until the end of the current season.
“I am happy to be here because I find some people that believe in me so I can show what I can do for the team. It is important to continue playing. It is a different challenge. Football is in every part of the world: you have to put the ball in the goal.
I know it is a lot different but I am so excited to play one game that it isn’t important if it is League One, Championship or Premier League.” This was the statement released by AndeaDossena as he expressed his satisfaction in joining the League One club, Leyton Orient.
After having spent time performing with Udinese, Liverpool, Napoli and Sunderland just to name a few of the top clubs that Andrea Dossena joined during his playing career, the Italian player is reaching the age where time to start considering where to join as it might be the last club of his career.
Leyton Orient is struggling just to survive in the English League One as they are located in the relegation zone of the 3rd tier English League. The addition of Andrea Dossena and a few other players are hoping that can change things around for the club that is aiming just to stay alive and not get relegated.
